Join Peconic Baykeeper and the Peconic Estuary Partnership in celebrating Earth Day and Long Island Migratory Fish Week, as we search for alewives in Southampton’s Alewife Creek. Along the way, we will learn about the history of these threatened and ecologically important fish, current monitoring efforts, and restoration efforts being made to protect their future on Long Island. This will also be a great opportunity to see osprey, herons, and egrets so bring binoculars!
