PEP is hiring for the position of Outreach Assistant. The Outreach Assistant will work to support the Peconic Estuary Partnership (PEP) and program staff, assisting in community outreach by establishing connections, scheduling meetings, and providing support at outreach events and dissemination of information. The successful incumbent will have excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate strategic relationships with a broad range of media contacts on the local, state, and regional levels. They will have experience in developing and delivering science-related outreach and communications materials to the non-science and / or general public. This position will require working in marine and outdoor environments.
