State of the Bays Science Conference

The State of the Bays Science Conference on Friday, April 29, 2005 at the Riverhead Campus of the Suffolk County Community College was an event to remember! Nearly 100 people gathered to learn about the latest research findings in the Peconics. The Conference was designed to be an information-sharing forum for scientists and environmental managers, as well as an educational outreach event to policy makers and the interested public. Each presentation gave a glimpse into the environmental state of the estuary and highlighted related management recommendations and initiatives. Click here for the final agenda.
